Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my over 80-year-old mother to physiotherapy sessions with Benji at Rivervale Physiotherapy for the past few months, and I cannot recommend him enough. From the moment we walked in, his warm yet professional approach made my mum feel comfortable and at ease. He took the time to thoroughly assess her condition and clearly explained the treatment plan in a way that was easy to understand. Throughout her sessions, Benji’s knowledge and attentiveness stood out. He consistently adjusted the exercises and techniques to suit my mum’s individual needs. I really appreciated how he not only focused on her immediate issues but also educated us on ways to prevent future injuries. The results have been truly remarkable - I've noticed a significant improvement in her mobility and a reduction in pain. One day, she walked in hunched over, but after her session, she was standing as straight as possible for her condition with no pain, I found it unbelievable. Benji’s expertise and personalised care impressed me so much that when I injured myself, unfortunately I did, I didn’t hesitate to make an appointment with him. I wasn’t disappointed. After my session, the pressure in my muscles seemed to vanish, and the pain dropped instantly. Benji’s knowledge and experience in helping people regain mobility are truly exceptional. Fantastic experience: I have had several appointments to see Nat, after a recommendation from my son who is also a patient of Rivervale Physiotherapy. I have been suffering with varying levels of what I thought was just back related pain, for a while. Thanks to Nat’s investigation and observation, some of my back and knee pain is related to hip issues. With his treatment and on going exercise programs, my pain has reduced and my mobility has increased. Very pleased with my level of treatment and overall interaction with Rivervale Physiotherapy.

Negative experience: I am sharing this for the sake of future patients, as I won’t go back. I have several issues going on with my knee. Saw one of the physio’s there. The exercises given made my knee really flare up and I’ve been in unbearable pain all week, undoing even a cortisone shot I got three weeks ago from my sports doctor. I am very upset about this. Three wasted care plan appointments down the drain, feeling much worse. The appointments felt rushed. The true cause of the knee pain, like very sore hip flexors were not addressed. I was told I’d be sent aqua exercises, but these were not sent. No time was spent explaining what was going on.

Benji was professional and worked with me to plan exercises to build strength in specific areas that would support my knees. After a few weeks my pain reduced, and Benji planned ongoing preventative exercises.

Fantastic experience: For people like me, who's anxious and conscious every time, Rivervale Physio has been much of a delight for me. I've been seeing Naomi for a few sessions already. First due to my neck and upper back pain, and eventually getting my fitness back. She came up with an exercise routine to help me get back on my feet. I've been very much comfortable and the reassurance I felt every time I'm in their clinic. Not to forget the friendly front desk people who've always been lovely. The gym also helps me do my routine at my own pace without the feeling of any fear of prejudice but with the presence of constant support every time I step in there.

Fantastic experience: Wow. My first ever consultation with a physio and they exceeded my expectations. Troys advice and knowledge was so spacific to me. Thats care you dont get just anywhere. He is so knowledgeble and professional. I expected he would ask me to come back a couple times a week but said 2 weeks time should do. As I am budget conscience this was music to my ears that he wasnt over prescribing his work as some are known to do. I would highly recomend this physio for sure. I came out feeling so good and noticed an obvious improvement in my pain and movement

He was instrumental in managing a calf injury in the lead up to my first marathon. He has been working through an ECU injury with me and has helped progress the injury. Fantastic experience: I'd had an injury for a while and had tried a few things to help but none worked. I'd never been to a physio before but decided to give it a go. Wish I had met Nat Curtin at Rivervale Phyio at the beginning because the treatment made a difference straight away. I've had some follow up treatment as well and the injury is the best it's ever been, Can't say enough good things about Nat - he's professional, has expert knowledge and most importantly he really cares how you are.
