Negative experience: I’ve been going to NorthCare for a long time now for physio and hydro. Cannot fault Kevin and Fatima. The recent move to the new premises on Orange Avenue I thought was going to be great, but there are less disabled car parks than the previous location, less car parking overall and when I’m in a wheelchair it makes it difficult. Novita Services are in the building right next door and share these 3 disabled car park bays, too. The internal car parks are taken up mostly by Novita staff members, leaving NorthCare clients circling and circling waiting for an internal car park to become available. Parking on the road is not an option for me. The parking bays are really not wide enough for me to get out of the car without parking closer to the line of the next bay’s driver’s side as I need to open my door all the way as I use a removable device to clip in and hold on to, to get into and out of the car. The new pool area has a large, heavy door that opens outwards. I couldn’t see a “waiting area” with chairs or benches for clients outside of the pool like there was at the previous premises, as clients are not meant to enter the pool area without a physio present or until their session start time. There is no accessibility for physically disabled clients in wheelchairs like there is at Modbury Rehab where the bathrooms and change rooms are within the pool area, behind a wall, including many disabled bathrooms that would fit my electric wheelchair in without getting wet. There is still only 1 disabled bathroom at the new location, that is outside of the heavy door of the pool area, and no consideration taken again for physically disabled clients. There are many people in my hydro classes that use walking frames or canes, or who have invisible disabilities that need access to a disabled bathroom, and due to my physical disability I am often the last out of the pool and have to wait for this disabled bathroom to become available. Walking the new ramp is impossible for me when I am assessed as only being able to physically walk 2-5 metres, so the stairs are my only option - very slowly. “Nice big pool” I was told, but due to my condition I must hold onto the railing against the wall at all times during my session and exercise program - so that doesn’t concern me but happy for other clients who can use this space. No new hydrotherapy equipment has been purchased so we are still using the same old mouldy products as the previous location. I really had high hopes for the new hydro pool and amenities, but a big let down on the location, parking, products and overall accessibility. I really am considering going elsewhere for hydrotherapy - the only reason I have stuck it out so long is for continuity between my physical physio sessions and hydrotherapy being with the same physio, who really cares and understands my rare condition and other disabilities.

Plenty of free carpark space with easy access and egress inside and outside for wheelchair or less-abled Podiatrist and physio therapists helpful friendly and extremely competent Clean and tidy areas all round including well supervised hydrotherapy pool

Negative experience: I'm not returning i didn't like how I was treated by Kevin I'll be taking my business elsewhere go ahead treated more people like that and you're organisation will fall stop under estimating people on the ndis

Positive experience: 5 star rating for the physiotherapist Andrew Nam. 0 star for the staff at the counter. One trying to keep busy without even acknowledging the line of customers waiting to check in and then on the way out and the other working at the pace of a snail catching up with the client. On the way out, I seemingly interrupted the employees great personal time catchup which they didn't bother pausing to serve, future book or interact with me at all. Eftpos machine dumped on the counter top for payment and that was that. Poor customer service skills for what is charged, they need to be better.

Fantastic experience: I am writing to give feedback about my Excellent experience with my physiotherapist Fatima, when i started she effectively explained my condition and treatment plan. She uses appropriate and effective treatment techniques. I strongly feel that my treatment is progressing well. My pain and/or symptoms improved as a result of treatment especially during this Winter season. I am very satisfied with the overall effectiveness of my treatment. My physiotherapist is professional and always courteous. Fatima listens attentively to all my concerns. My physiotherapist answers my questions clearly and thoroughly. I feel comfortable and confident in my physiotherapist's empathy and professional care. I would recommend physiotherapist Fatima to others. And i strongly feel that Fatima is an asset and a Gem to Northcare Physio.

Negative experience: Went there to see the physio and he was so nice. The young lady at the reception was so rude, didn't even greet and smile at all. She was so rude with all the customers, she shouldn't be at the reception for customer service.

Negative experience: 0 star. The worst service attitude I've ever encountered was at this center. A young girl with an arrogant attitude was extremely rude and didn't even bother to look at you. Even when you were standing right in front of her with no one else around, she ignored you until you spoke up. When you did, she simply said she was busy and told you to wait. Meanwhile, an older female receptionist nearby didn't say anything. So there were two receptionists staring at their computer screens and one customer waiting indefinitely.

Fantastic experience: The staff are very knowledgeable and always explain things in a way that you can understand. All the therapists I have seen, Tom, Andrew and Jonathan have been amazing. I highly recommend this place.

Negative experience: As someone who has always prided herself on my customer service skills being of a very high standard I feel the need to alert people of the disgraceful service I received today from Linda/Lynda Northcare Physio She was extremely rude to me when I came out from my appointment to see her for the account side of things. Due to her inability to find my referral forms, she took it out on me with her rude attitude and aggressive tone. I kept my cool and was kind to her thinking maybe I would kill her with kindness to see if that changed anything but unfortunately it didn’t. It’s the worst customer service I have received in a really really long time. Rolling her eyes at me when she made a new booking for me without first asking me if that date and time was ok. I gave up and just left and told her I will book online as it’s obviously too hard for her. Disgraceful customer service. I’ll go elsewhere now for my treatment (podiatry, exercise physiology, physio & remedial massage). Have the day you deserve Lynda/Linda

Fantastic experience: My experience was great. I had a kind, understanding, patient and thorough practitioner who helped me. I walked out relieve each time. I have not needed to come back since and with all the advice and help I received it definitely worked and is worth it. A good local physio you can trust. Receptionist are quite friendly too. The place is easy to locate with plenty of parking space. The inside are is neat and spacious. The hours are reasonable. Booking system online is great, definitely check it out. Make it that much easier.
