Negative experience: I would never recommend City Health Massage Worst experience and interaction I have had in a very long time

Fantastic experience: I had an old painful shoulder injury flair up whilst I was on holiday Aldi agreed to see me over his lunch break. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He used deep tissue massage to relive my pain. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in Hobart area. Affordable, reliable, personable service.

Fantastic experience: I had plantar fascitis which was healed with Aldis' magic machine, a ball and the exercises that he gave me. He knows a lot about the best exercises for any problem. Thanks Aldi.

Fantastic experience: I have been lost for many years, as a result my health was also lost. When I finally gained insight into my own role in my dilemma, I started to take control of my life and climb out of the very deep hole I had dug for myself. Geoff Thorley was one of the amazing therapists I found on my journey. I had a lot of musculoskeletal aches and pains and my body was out of balance.Geoff treated me as a whole human being and respectfully invited me to engage in a therapeutic relationship with him.......he has removed the pain from my body and his positivity and care for me has lifted my heart. I recommend him whenever I see people in musculoskeletal pain. If he can help, he will.

Fantastic experience: When I began to see Cliff McGilvray for treatment, I had migraines most weeks, I had chronic neck pain, I fell over frequently and felt quite asymmetric. These problems began when I fell on my head a few years ago. With Cliff's treatment, these are now almost completely resolved. I feel balanced again. I could not be happier with these improvements. Cliff's manner is calm and confident. His techniques are gentle, subtle and quickly effective. I recommend him to anyone with unresolved health issues. This man works wonders.

Fantastic experience: I had been having tendon problems with both of my wrists, which seriously affected my career as a chef. I'd tried cortisone injections, and even surgery. However, after just two visits to Geoff Thorley at City Health and Massage, the inflammation has significantly gone down and I don't have pain in my wrists anymore - even when cooking and carrying heavy things. I'm done with other treatments now - this is the way to really fix yourself.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Serge in the last weeks because of a reccurent back + neck pain. I work in computers and it always hurts at the same place. But recently the pain had became permanent if I can say. Serge first gave me good advises on how to change my posture, plus he completely relieved me from the pain in very few treatments. So any geek outhere should go and see him, it's almost magical I'm telling you! :)

Fantastic experience: I went to City Health and Massage's Ray Harrison when I started to develop a bunion on my foot. Ray treated it and also diagnosed a muscular problem that I didn't realise I had. The treatment relieved the pain and the exercises and stretches he taught me keep the problem under control. I couldn't recommend the practice more highly. Ray is a healer and I have recommended him and City Health and Massage to workmates and friends.

Fantastic experience: Aldi was AMAZING. Realigned my hips and helped relieve months of chronic pain. From bearly able to run 6k before pain stopped me to two days after a remedial massage going on to run a 21.1 k race followed by a 10k race the next day . Dane was very professional and skillful with his treatment and also gave me insightful tips on recovery stretches and foam rolling. In fact, I felt that he was much more helpful than my physiotherapist! Immediately scheduled for more follow-up sessions, as it will be highly beneficial to my exercise recovery. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Aldi for regular massages for about a year and I am very impressed by his skills and knowledge. He is way above a "street masseuse" and really belongs with a professional sports team, looking after high-grade athletes. He attends conferences to keep learning, and understands the way the body works so he can identify issues quickly and accurately. Above all, Aldi cares. He is genuinely interested in helping resolve muscular issues and, when I had a bad spasm in my lower back, he not only resolved the cramping, he followed up with phone-calls to check my progress. He has given me an exercise routine to improve core strength and continues to suggest ways to improve my long-term well-being. If you want a serious therapist, rather than a gentle rub-down, I would strongly recommend Aldi as your man.

Fantastic experience: Having weekly sessions with Geoff Thorley at City Health & Massage as part of a rehab and recovery program after a serious accident has made all the difference between struggling with daily mobility and being able to reach a point of nearly full function and feeling confident that full mobility will return. Geoff has taken the time to assess and research the best pathway to recovery from the injury and provide an individually tailored massage, needle and exercise program to assist and support full recovery. I seriously doubt that my recovery would have been as quick and as successful had I not had these weekly sessions. Geoff, your knowledge, skill and experience is much appreciated :) Thanks heaps!
