Fantastic experience: Peter is an absolute legend. I was seeing another physio with no improvement. After the first appointment with Peter I was able to move more freely and the exercises he gave me are working. My 2nd appointment has me back at about 90%. I couldn't recommend him any higher!

Fantastic experience: I went to see Peter 2 weeks ago as I was suffering from severe pain in my neck and around my shoulder blade. After answering a number of questions at our initial interview, Peter correctly pinpointed the injury as a blown disc in my neck. Following my first treatment, I was approximately 50% cured. Amazing !!! My 2nd treatment cured me to around 80% and my third and final treatment cured me 100% !!!!! I can not recommend Peter at FullLife Physio highly enough. An absolute genious.

Fantastic experience: I saw Peter with an acute painful injury following a high impact blow to the shoulder/ pectoral area (2 weeks after it occurred with no improvement/worsening symptoms). Peter took the time to explain the injury and then actively treat the affected area, as well as providing details on stretches & exercises. Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Peter at Full Life for the past few months, both in Palm Cove and Smithfield. Having recently moved to the area, I was relieved to find someone so skilled nearby. A couple of months ago I injured myself substantially at work and Peter has really helped me get back on track. Not just his healing abilities and knowledge, but he has also helped me with easy at home exercises that have helped me stay on top of my physical health. I highly recommend!

He developed a rehabilitation program specifically tailored to my shoulder issues and continually adjusts it based on my progress. I’d heard he had “magic hands,” and that is definitely the case! Fantastic experience: I had lower back problems that had quickly became so bad that I had trouble walking even short distances. I had nerve pain running down my leg, a very sore calf and a numb foot. I was a few weeks away from a 3-month cycling holiday in France and my ability to ride had become limited. Darrelle at FullLife Physio Palm Cove was excellent with her treatment. She has a great range of treatment options from hands-on and other modalities. She also gave me exercises that I had not come across before. The treatment made a huge difference and the ongoing exercises while in France have kept me problem free and riding. The numbness and pain have gone. I highly recommend Darrelle!

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience there today, where i was repeatedly made to feel bad because I can't afford to go for the 10 sessions at $125 a pop. I explained over and over. I was obviously in heaps of pain and the attitude I received was not warranted or welcomed. I certainly won't be going back.

Fantastic experience: After five awful days of spontaneous vertigo (BPPV), I was desperate for relief—and I honestly couldn’t believe what happened. Peter performed a specific manoeuvre during my physio session and within minutes, the vertigo was gone. I was so overwhelmed I got emotional right then and there. Immediate relief after days of feeling horrible—truly incredible! Not only was the treatment effective, but Peter also followed up with a thoughtful text in the days afterward to check in on how I was doing. That extra care really meant a lot. I’m beyond grateful and can’t recommend him highly enough. Amazing experience!

Fantastic experience: After several months of significant leg pain/discomfort, I booked an appointment with Peter at FullLife Physio. I appreciated Peter's meticulous approach to diagnosing the cause of the leg pain, and from the first appointment his assessment and treatment proved to be spot on. The cause of my pain has much subsided and is now being addressed independently by me through daily exercises at home - these exercises are set out on a useful app that Peter gave me. Across my three visits, the opening of the new FullLife Physio clinic at Smithfield was an added bonus.

Fantastic experience: I’m generally a little cynical about most physiotherapy - but I have to say my experience with Darrelle has been nothing short of amazing. In one session she has managed to sort out what has been an issue for a couple of months. This has happened for three separate injuries! She’s down to earth, warm, knowledgeable and very skilled. Fantastic experience: I saw Peter at FullLife Physio for a sore shoulder. It was effecting my swim training. And I couldn’t lift my arm above my head. Over a handful of visits, using massage and targeted stretching he relieved the pain. He gave me exercises to strengthen my shoulder and improve my swimming stroke. If I have any other problems in the future I will be using him again for sure.

Fantastic experience: Peter was recommended to me for back pain as the result of a slipped disc about 18 months ago. (I had little to no improvement after seeing other healthcare professionals). After a few appointments, the constant discomfort and pain has significantly reduced, and some days I am almost pain free. I was provided with suggestions as to how to manage everyday activities which has been very helpful. Another plus is that I was not given too many exercises and stretches and therefore was able to do these faithfully a couple of times a day. Thank you for working your magic Peter.

After some manipulation and relief, Peter diagnosed shingles and had me at the doctor ASAP and on the road to recovery. Shame Peter is not in Perth as he would definitely be my regular. Fantastic experience: For the past 12 months, I had headaches almost every day due to an issue with my nack. I ignored the pain as life was busy. Eventually, the pain was unbearable, and I needed to see someone. I googled Physio in my area, checked the customer reviews for each one, and found Peter's "Palm Cove Physio " as a stand out. I managed to book an appointment reasonably quickly. Peter was very methodical in finding out exactly what my issue was through a series of relevant questions. Once armed with the information, Peter worked on my neck. After the session, I still had a slight headache. However, after a good night of sleep, I woke up pain-free. I had a follow-up appointment a few days later. I could not wait to tell Peter my good news. "No more headaches." Peter showed me some exercises to do and they are truly working. I highly recommend that you do not put up with pain like me, make an appointment, and see Peter, and he will help you.

Peter van Gaalen gave me one treatment and four exercises as homework (easy to follow and keeping me on track via an app). Now, after a follow-up treatment I'm totally pain free. It's like a miracle! Fantastic experience: I was referred to Peter from my doctor for acute knee pain and degeneration. While not initially convinced physiotherapy would allow me to control my pain and resume my normal activities, after three months of a graduated exercise program I've seen amazing results - not only can I continue to do the things I love like walking along the beach and tackling steps, but I experience almost no knee pain and feel I have progressed really well. Peter allows you to monitor your own pace and suggests incremental steps to get back into a normal life. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: A month ago I was referred to Peter by my GP with a sore neck at the base of my skull. After a couple of sessions with minimal improvement, Peter insisted on a scan. Working on the results he was able to relieve pressure quite rapidly and establish easier movement. The exercises he recommended were simple to follow and are still helping. Everything action was explained, the pressure used was always tolerable-I think Peter's sense of humour helped immensely. I would highly recommend this very experienced practitioner.
