Fantastic experience: Absolute miracle worker. I originally went into to see Jay for preop physio due to a ruptured ACL that needed reconstruction surgery and I have had this injury for about a year and a half, I also had my surgery booked in for September this year but after 8 weeks of commitment and showing up I have now been able to cancel my ACL reconstruction surgery after Jay was able to help and offer me better options other than going under the knife. If you have been told you need ACL surgery, I highly recommend seeing Jay before you make that commitment, because of Jay I am very happy that I do not need this anymore. Highly highly recommend Avalon Physio to anyone. Thanks Jay!

Fantastic experience: I am a DVA Patient who has been coming to Avalon Physio for a while now and wanted to wait a bit to give an honest opinion. Jay and Liam are at the top of the game. Not only do there techniques work, they explain the whole process during treatment as to why they do certain procedures. I have not felt this great in years and I now have full range of movement. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Liam and the team at Avalon Physio Alkimos highly enough. After a challenging year dealing with an accident injury, I initially sought treatment elsewhere, but the therapy was superficial and provided very little relief. Thankfully, I was referred to Liam at Avalon Physio, and the difference was immediate and profound. I felt such relief and improvement right from the very first session. Liam is exceptionally knowledgeable and a true expert in his field, quickly identifying and addressing the root cause of my issue. I have now successfully completed the intensive treatment phase and am moving confidently through the exercise phase. I've noticed a significant, tangible improvement in my shoulder function and my overall fitness. If you are looking for expert advice and genuinely effective treatment, do not hesitate—I would recommend Liam and the Avalon team without hesitation. Fantastic experience: Very professional but also extremely friendly. Jay Fryer would have to be one of the best physiotherapist i have ever been too. Thay dont give you the run around and charge for unnecessary treatment. Would advise anyone to be treated by the team even the recipients are friendly and talkative. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Jay & Liam who have both assisted me in my recent injury. As someone who has attended several physios I have felt treatment was dragged out unnecessarily. This was certainly not the case with Jay & Liam within weeks I was was back at full capacity and treatment was recommended to cease by Jay. Whilst keeping up a professional treatment, the friendly approach of the brothers and their lovely receptionist made me feel like I was going to visit family or friends. 11/10 treatment, service and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client of Jay's at Avalon Physiotherapy since February 2025 following a total knee replacement. While still in hospital i was advised to contact a physio post surgery to help with my recovery. I searched via google and came across Avalon Physiotherapy who had outstanding reviews, so of course, I booked my first appointment. From the moment I walked in the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. After 3 months of physio and dry needling im now back at work. Jay has been amazing, very experienced, knowledgeable and confident in his approach which made me feel I was in the right hands from the start. Fantastic experience: The staff here are wonderful. Jay has been my go-to for all things physio for a couple of years now. He managed to treat a chronic injury that several other physio’s couldn’t do. He’s always very kind, attentive and confident in his ability to work magic!

Fantastic experience: Can’t speak highly enough of the care I received at Avalon. I saw Liam a few days after a triple knee fracture, stuck in a brace and very despondent. After just over 3 months of treatment I am back doing almost all of my pre injury activities including teaching cycle classes, (which I was doing 4 times per week.) Liam was very encouraging and his knowledge of my injury was extensive which Im sure got me to where I am now quickly. Would recommend this business to anyone needing a physio.

Fantastic experience: Jay is a very experienced senior physiotherapist. His practice is evidence based and person-centred, making any exercises and treatment easy to follow and maintain. I have seen Jay over several years for a range of issues, including sporting injuries and addressing physical perimenopausal symptoms. Jay is well informed and works with his clients to work at their pace, with their resources to guarantee a safe and speedy recovery. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had achilles pain for 15 odd years. Been to 3 physios and 3 podiatrists and none have been any help. Within 2 visits the pain has been cut down significantly, and more importantly Jay has provided me with a treatment plan I can continue at home to stay on top of the issue. Having someone who is confident in resolving issues, and more importantly is a genuinely great human is such an asset to the community, and to Jay himself. Absolutely recommend these guys, and super grateful for the treatment.

Fantastic experience: Jay was recommended to me after seeing another physiotherapist and not getting any results after 10+ visits! Jay identified the problem before I even finished describing the symptoms, totally different diagnosis from the first Physio, Jay used dry needling, exercise and manipulation with great effect. I have been struggling with chronic pain for many years and after only a short time my pain has dramatically reduced and my range of movement increased exponentially. Fantastic experience: Jay is the GOAT physio. I run ultra marathons and often find myself with strains and injuries and Jay is the man I trust to get me back to 100%. He provides elite physiotherapy, and his knowledge is second to none! He will easily identify the root cause of any injury and address it directly in the first session, every time. He will always clearly explain the problem and clearly outline the pathway to a full recovery with a real intention to completely repair/rehab any injury as quickly as possible. Not just to keep you coming back. And he is also a top bloke! High quality all round.

Fantastic experience: Jay Fryer has been my physio for many years now. Anytime my back flares up or my shoulder spasms I head in for a treatment. Jay listens to what is going on and knows exactly how to treat it with either dry needling or manipulation and show you exercises to help. Jay knows his craft, he has a professional and caring manner and I highly recommend him for all your physiotherapy needs.
