Fantastic experience: Can’t thank the team at Sports & Spinal Gympie enough for there support… from the ladys on the front desk who are always extremely bright and bubbly and help pass the waiting time happily having a yarn when time permits, to my physiotherapist who will remain nameless but you know who you are.. who I can talk to about anything in particular, all of you have gone above and beyond to help me, and continue to do so with my rehabilitation and my return to work.. without there support and guidance I think it would have been a much longer recovery time.. a massive THANK YOU TO YOU ALL

Negative experience: Got a care plan for some sessions here but hadn't tried them before, needed help with a particular area and was hoping to get some good hands on time, manual manipulation and a good amount of exercises to work on. Care plans are meant to be so those with chronic illness who usually can't work (I'm on disability) can afford allied health services. All my care plans in the past have made my sessions covered or at the very most expensive, was a $10 gap fee. This has been the same for the past 15 years for me. But these guys are INSANELY expensive. Private is $160 a session. You would think care plan wouldn't be right? Nope, us on care plans still need to pay $160 and we just get about $60 back from Medicare. So not only do we have to front the same cost as private patients when we have a care plan, but the gap fee for a care plan session is around $100. 10 times that of everywhere else I've been. To make matters worse, all I got was a 3ish minute massage that was super soft and did nothing much, and 3 exercises to take home, the rest of the time was all being spoken to. I knew the condition I had, my doctor wrote that it was already diagnosed, yet the physio spoke at me the whole time like she was diagnosing me and this condition was brand new to me. I've been dealing with it for almost 10 years, which I made clear to her, but it was like she didn't listen to me and didn't take any notice of what I said. I was meant to go back later on, but just for a review (no massage apparently, yet still charged $160) and safe to say that didn't happen. I'm just annoyed I wasted my care plan sessions on that when I could have used them somewhere else and got my money's worth. It felt very money-hungry to me and the rooms were tiny, you could hear everyone even with the door closed and the whole place looked old and quite run-down.

Regarding EPC/GP Management Plans, Medicare sets a fixed rebate amount, and clinics are required to determine their own fees independently. We never want patients to feel surprised by costs, so we apologise if this wasn’t clearly communicated before your session.
We’re also sorry to hear that the consultation didn’t feel aligned with your needs or your existing knowledge of your condition. Our goal is always to listen carefully, tailor treatment, and ensure each patient feels heard and supported. It’s disappointing to learn that this wasn’t your experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been working on my recovery with Ben for over 12 months now. Lost around 20 kilos of post surgery weight and drastically improved my overall fitness under Ben's supervision. As an Ex Serviceman my health and fitness is extremey important to me. I have found Ben to have a unique understanding of trauma and its ongoing effects both mentally and physically and as such his excerise classes for Veteran Health Care have been invaluable in my own recovery and those of my class mates. Ben's understanding of the complex nature of multiple injuries and their ongoing impact on lifestyle and functionality has been integral in my recovery. This has built a platform for me to regain fitness, and a more complex understanding of my physical limitations and how to work around them to achieve my health goals.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been working with Ben for a shoulder injury and all I can say is that he is amazing at what he does. Very knowledgeable, professional, always on time and nothing it’s too much trouble. Always happy to answer questions and go the extra mile if needed. My shoulder is back feeling better than ever and I’m back in the gym lifting weights. I can’t thank Ben enough, highly recommended.

Negative experience: Sooooo expensive. Not a Bupa first practise. $142 first visit with $35 back from bupa. Con Walsh, $98 bupa gives $85 back.

Fantastic experience: The reception staff and physiotherapists are all extremely friendly, welcoming and happy to help. The off street parking at the back of the practice is great and the location is easy to find. I have been seeing Aravinth and he is always professional, pleasant and keen to help me sort out my knee issues. I would highly recommend All Ages Physiotherapy.
Fantastic experience: As a returned serviceman requiring permanent physio on a weekly basis I cannot recommend All Ages Physio staff and James highly enough.
Fantastic experience: Just one visit so far but James worked magic, I had to postpone my second visit because of pain but they were very courteous and understanding. He was professional, friendly and approachable. I like his use of technology to personalise take home exercise printouts. Reception is friendly the waiting room is a bit clinical but worth it to look at their bookcases which are ART! it's off a main St close to everything and well signed. On St parking only but has an area to drop off right at the door.
