Bodyworks Subiaco

Fantastic experience: I don't think words can accurately express how amazing the Bodyworks Subiaco team are. From excellent physio services, to utterly life-changing remedial massages. Most recently, Miyuki has absolutely improved my well being and made my life much more comfortable - she has healing hands!

Positive experience: Edit: Have added a star as I appreciate the gesture from BodyWorks management to offer me a make up experience, I hope others will have a better experience. There are a lot of great reviews on here but unfortunately I can't give one. I had a massage at BodyWorks recently as I was given a gift voucher. My issues 1. The room was freezing cold 2. The room was right next to the pilates studio so I had to spend my massage listening to extremely loud chattering and laughing right outside the room. 3. The massuese spent half the massage telling me to breathe in and out instead of actually massaging me. 4. I asked for the massuese to focus on my neck and shoulders. My neck only got massaged for about 30 seconds at the end. 5. The massuese had sharp nails poking into me which was not pleasant. 6. On top of all the above, at the end when I provided my gift voucher I was asked to pay an extra $5 as prices had been raised after my voucher was purchased. I'm sorry but if you are looking for a good remedial massage I recommend finding somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Cillian was a good coach; showing us reformer exercises that started from the basic to more complex ones. He was watchful of our form, had regressions when needed and very encouraging. I happened to observe a class in session in the basement when I was at the clinic and I really liked the fun and friendly vibe. Front staff were also super friendly and helpful. All in all an excellent experience!

Fantastic experience: I have few Pregnancy Massage with Jenny during my pregnancy journey. Jenny is true professional and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend the remedial massage skills of Jenny , who has an exceptional talent for addressing both the physical and emotional health elements of her clients. Jenny has a beautiful calming manner and her technique is extremely relaxing and outstandingly beneficial . I highly recommend clients to treat themselves to Jenny’s remedial massage, and comment that they will be repeatedly rebooking to enjoy the relaxing treatment and the benefits after!

Fantastic experience: We were referred to Bodyworks as we are trying to put together a team to look after my husband's rare form of scoliosis. Naomi and team did not disappoint. The service at every touch point has been faultless and we are confident that we are in great hands of people that truly care for the individuals in front of them. Thank you from Ben and Serene.

Fantastic experience: Great physio and pilates clinic! Modern layout and equipment with organised and great staff. Would love to see postnatal classes not during the midday sleep allowing more mothers to come.

Fantastic experience: Had a remedial massage from Miyuki. Very satisfactory. Met my expectations. I am feeling sore on my shoulders,neck and back and she does the job on that areas. And now I'm feeling much more better. Will see her again soon. Thank you Bodyworks Subiaco and to Miyuki and to the rest of the staff. Job well done. By the way parking was easy and the plave was easy to find.

Fantastic experience: I have been having the same problem for a year and had seen another physio since the injury. Unfortunately that treatment hadn't worked. As a result I'm super impressed with Justin. I've only seen him maybe 4 times and tonight was the first time that my knee didn't hurt after walking up and down in a hilly area. I'm honestly amazed.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a scoliosis assessment with Lisa. I was so impressed with the way the session was conducted and the knowledge that was shared. Lisa made my daughter relax and feel much better about her self image and hopeful for improvement with therapy.

Fantastic experience: I often come here for a physio appointment with Grant or Chrissy, both have been fantastic at getting my problems sorted quickly, offering great service while in the clinic, as well as plenty of helpful tips and exercises to assist with healing and strengthening. They're always willing to help but also wanting you to be healthy so you don't have to come back. And they're both super talkative and friendly, as are all the other staff that I've run into.

Fantastic experience: Lisa and her team are excellent health professionals! I have been regularly attending for 5 years both physio and Pilates and also had a few massages. The staff are friendly, highly skilled and efficient. Whether it's Lisa or Natasha that I've had leading Pilates, both always tailor a different program every week to suit the class members' needs and ensure a wide range of stretching while maximising the use of equipment. I like the small class sizes which ensures everyone gets plenty of attention. Lisa is highly competent at using her extensive physiotherapy knowledge and skills to treat my scoliosis problems. I always walk out of Bodyworks feeling much better!!

Fantastic experience: I made the move to Bodyworks early in 2017 after attending another centre for at least the last half of 2016. I have really appreciated the input from both Chrissy and Grant that has resulted in me eliminating almost all of my sciatica complaint. I've found they are prepared to listen and offer alternative solutions that work for me. A high level of equipment set in a comfortable studio surrounding with a nice vibe from the staff. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have attended Bodyworks for a while now and the team there are fabulous. The Rehab Pilates classes have helped get rid of my back pain and I look forward to my weekly classes. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I found Bodyworks via a Google search after trying two other pilates centres and not being satisfied at all with how I progressed with my back/hip issues when visiting them. I can say that my experience at Bodyworks has been overwhelmingly positive. I initially saw Chrissie for a review prior to starting pilates and then moved to one-on-one reformer sessions with Bec. It has been a few months now and I have really seen a dramatic difference in the level of pain in my back and hips. Bec is an excellent pilates instructor who provides a large variety of focused exercises and is constantly thinking of how to progress me with my injury. Bodyworks has a great setup with both physio and pilates services on the one site. The initial consult by Chrissie was essential to outline the issues that Bec then works on. Having both services is also very handy if you need manipulation in between pilates classes. the team provides continuity between disciplines which I believe is essential. I would definitely recommend Bodyworks to anyone considering a pilates program for rehabilitation.

Fantastic experience: Really good, positive experience! As new to pilates I was initially concerned not being capable and uneducated about proper technique. However with the intro offer, you learn the basics in a personal one on one environment and gives you confidence before going into there essential group classes!

Fantastic experience: Grant has been looking after my Physio needs now for 6 - 9 months and I have found his methodology and treatment has really improved my back and general well being. Whilst my back issues are long term and likely to be with me forever, the different treatment and exercises that Grant has arranged and applied for me has resulted in dramatic improvement in my day to day living, working and pain levels and I can thoroughly recommend Grant as a true professional. He is also very personable and takes the time to analyse effects of treatment and modify treatment where necessary to achieve maximum relief.

Fantastic experience: I recently did my Pilates Instructor training at Bodyworks with Chael and I loved it. The workshops are comprehensive and Chael always offers modifications so that the exercises suit most clients. And of course we had a laugh!

Fantastic experience: Natasha has been great in personalising my treatment to help get me back in the water. It is nice to know that your medical practitioner is committed to your recovery and approaches it with a positive attitude. A well run business with knowledgeable and friendly staff.

The clinic is warm and inviting and the classes are varied and frequent. They are really Perth's premier Wellness Centre - offering Physio, Clinical Pilates, Massage, Nutritional advice & Fitness classes. You'll never need to go anywhere else!!!

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Bodyworks Subiaco for Physio treatments, Pilates Rehab Reformer, Power Reformer, Mattwork and Barre classes! As someone who generally doesn't like exercise at all, the team at Bodyworks have me enjoying every session. The classes are very small and all instructors put a huge emphasis on correct technique which means you won’t injure yourself and over time it helps with being able to self-adjust and apply method learnt in class to daily life.

Fantastic experience: I have been doing the rehabilitation pilates in a group of 4 people and have found the exercises and attention from Grant, the physiotherapist, to be really helpful. My knee has improved dramatically and I would certainly recommend Bodyworks.

Fantastic experience: One of the best Pilates studios in Perth. The studio is staffed by qualified instructors (most if not all are also physiotherapists). There are classes for each skill/fitness level. The classes are small and very friendly. As someone who does Pilates regularly they still challenge me - which is great.

The thing i appreciated most is when i asked if i needed to come again i was told no it wasnt nessersary as long as i stick to what he told me. Fantastic experience: Started coming here for physio/rehab post a motorcycle accident, thinking I was going to be in pain for the rest of my life but the knowledgable team at Bodyworks introduced me to Pilates for rehabilitation! The service is personalised and I continue to learn more about my body and the correct way I should be moving. The facility is amazing and includes showers so you can do a Pilates class before work! I highly recommend the team at Bodyworks!
