Fantastic experience: I had been experiencing back pain from long-term injuries and was looking for a physiotherapist in the area. After reading many positive reviews, I decided to see Dr. Mark,someone even called him an “X-ray machine,” and I can see why. He quickly identified the problem and his treatment has helped me a lot. I still visit him occasionally for maintenance. Just wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else.

Fantastic experience: I strongly recommend Physiofit Berwick.Mark is the main Physiotherapist that has been treating me for neck and back pain and has made a huge improvement with my pain. He has a very caring nature and is extremely knowledgeable and will always take the time to ask how you are and will then work on the area that’s required on the day. I have also had treatment with Daniel who was very professional and knowledgeable and I am currently doing Clinical Pilates with Yvette who is very supportive and fantastic. The receptionists are always very friendly and helpful and you are always greeted with a smile. I highly recommend anyone that’s in need for a physiotherapist or Clinical Pilates and can’t thank the team enough for all their support and care .

Fantastic experience: I have been receiving weekly physiotherapy sessions at Physiofit, due to a significant injury. Not only has the medical treatment by Mark been exceptional, additionally, the service and empathy provided by Leanne, the practice manager, has been wonderful. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Agree with another reviewer where receptionist is a turn off. Insurance company had this physio down as a preferred partner. Was trying to make an enquiry regarding this but was being palmed off by receptionist to call my insurance company. Was not helpful. When probed further, understood that there will be co-payment from my end for my visits which will be no different to other providers. How are they preferred by my insurer? Not sure.
We are a very proud to be a BUPA, Medibank, NIB & HCF preferred provider, which ensures that we charge their set rates to their customers, usually resulting in lower gap rates or higher rebates, and often much less than other clinics who may charge much higher rates than these set fees. Being a preferred provider does not always mean 100% cover though as it depends on what level/type of cover you have. The only way to find out how much will be covered is by checking with your insurance or by using their app to check the item, or by coming into our clinic and doing a quote on the HICAPS machine but we cannot do this over the phone unfortunately. We are sorry if there was a misunderstanding with this and we hope that this helps to clarify our fees and we are disappointed we did not have an opportunity to provide treatment for you.

Negative experience: Inquired the receptionist regarding liaising with another Physiotherapist we have been to see in the past to get some documents across to physio fit at Bewick. The receptionist became passively aggressive on the phone. That’s the end of it. I didn’t even get to see the physiotherapists yet. I saw some good reviews here and that’s why I thought about inquiring in the first place.
Dear Dilini, Your response to our receptionist has taken us by surprise, particularly as the issue with the documents was not within our control and our receptionist was actually trying really hard to help you. We are a small practice and we pride ourselves on providing exceptional and personal care, and as you have seen by our reviews our clients are generally very happy. It is such a shame your mother did not have the chance to experience our service as I’m sure you would feel differently had this occurred. We welcome all feedback and take very seriously any complaint, and would have appreciated the opportunity to try and resolve this with you prior to your review.
Fantastic experience: I give this place 5 stars because I cannot to give it a higher scoring. If you are the type of person who wants a quick fix and want to ignore whatever long term injury you have been diagnosed with.. then this may not be the place for you. Mark - my physiotherapist has so many years of experience that I usually describe him to others as the man with X-ray vision. He knows what injury he is treating without a scan.. of course the scan will always match his initial thinking .. but this person is amazing. He has treated my back, my shoulders and all from which I now have a high functional life with minimum pain. So long as you do the exercises he gives you, you will see results. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Mark is definitely the best Physio we have ever been to. He is very patient, thorough and his treatment has been very effective. We have now moved an hour and a half away, but we have traveled back on occasion for Mark to treat our daughter because we know she will get a great outcome.
