Fantastic experience: Amazing surgeon and practice. My 10 year old daughter needed a finger nerve repair surgery and Dr Nick Smith did an incredible job. He made her feel comfortable and at ease with his excellent bedside manner and his surgical skill was outstanding. Furthermore, his staff and hand therapists have made the whole process so seamless. Fantastic experience: Most brilliant care and communication at GRIP Hand Therapy both pre-and post-surgery following my son's complex and broken dislocated finger. Fantastic experience: Libby, really understood my specific needs as a bass player and the therapy provided and ongoing exercises have made an immediate improvement. Together we developed the Grunge Grip (well, it's what I call it anyway!), an orthotic that I wear when rehearsing and performing that is super comfortable, provides all the support I need and also looks kinda cool. Libby is empathetic and super professional. Highly recommend Libby and the team at GRIP.

Fantastic experience: We have had the greatest pleasure to work with Corlia and team at GRIP. When our son sustained an injury during a national hockey tournament we had hoped it would not be serious. Unfortunately that was not to be the case and the diagnosis was a broken hand. At 16 years old and having to pull out of the tournament was devastating to him. From the very first moment of working with GRIP, we knew we were in safe hands, Corlia was so professional, knowledgeable and reassuring and explained the various options we had. The first major improvement was to have the hospital applied cast removed and replaced with a custom cast that GRIP arranged that allowed far more freedom including the ability to swim! Corlia provided exceptional care of our son through the whole process and ensured a perfect outcome. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the services of GRIP - they are the best in the business and you can be assured of exceptional care. We are very pleased to now see our son competing at a high level in sport again and credit this entirely to the exceptional care and advice provided by GRIP.

Fantastic experience: Firstly, it's clean and modern, and with plenty of space for social distancing. Libby works closely with surgeon Dr Paul van Minnen who replaced my PIP joint (see photos for progress at week and then 6 weeks) She's very personable and friendly, with a sense of humour. She knows her stuff, and isn't afraid to call the surgeon in to discuss best treatment options. She's a star at making guards and casts out of the plastics used to support proper healing. Libby is fun, but she is firm when she needs to be. I have made great progress, and that is down to Paul's work, and then Libby's post-operative therapy, and my own work trying to do the exercises. I will need more joint work in my journey dealing with arthritis in the hands - thanks, footy, not! I plan to use Paul and Libby again, when I need more joints replaced.

Fantastic experience: After months of frustrating misdiagnosis by a GP who basically kept insisting I had arthritis--in my neck-- I was so happy to be diagnosed with carpal and cubital tunnel on both arms when I finally saw Dr Van Minnen! I also saw Corlia on my first visit, and she was so very caring to me. Embarrasingly, I presented in a fair bit of distress after months of pain and sleepless nights, but she took the time out of her day to call me to see how I was after the appointment. Dr Van Minnen is an excellent surgeon, and they got me in as quickly as possible for surgery. I'm so grateful I found the GRIP team. I've been very well looked after! Fantastic experience: Best experience I could have hoped for when I initially felt devastated from a volar plate injury on my index finger of my non-dominant hand. The enormity of my frustration and despair of the injury was chipped away at each visit with Corlia, who expertly managed my injury, as well as my concerns of the impact to working and using my hand for the rest of my life! From the initial visit working in close consultation with the surgeon, Paul, to splinting, slowly increasing movement, then exercises to regain use; I felt I was the luckiest person in the world finding this service. Over 3 months we progressed to me not needing her at all, which I am sad about, since I really enjoyed our chats. I feel welcome to seek her services again if I feel the need to. I cannot speak highly enough of Corlia and GRIP Hand Therapy, and 100% would recommend their services.
