Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. Came to Michael with a very bad back pain. I pinched a nerve and had a buldge disc. Over a month or so, he was able to have my back pain free and I was able to go back to my routine. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: The customer service was so so, I didn’t feel too comfortable. I have no idea if what I experienced was normal or standard - im just reporting my experience. The guy was nice enough I think. But the place was quite messy, and atmosphere of the place was unsettling for reasons I can’t put my finger on. The whole process was also very painful and I don’t think the bedside manner was too good as I did not feel the practitioner put me at ease or comfort before he started jabbing me with needles and then giving me the most painful massage of my life. Just my personal experience, no hate.

Fantastic experience: Unbelievable! I’ve been in pain for 4mths after falling down 12 steps. I went to an Osteopath, I was prescribed anti inflammatories and painkillers without any positive results. Trying to step up my staircase was extremely difficult, I had to hold the rail and I’d grimace in pain. I went to Michael yesterday. I honestly cannot believe the difference!! My pain was 10-now 1!! Negative experience: 5 days after my visit to Freedom Physio&Acupuncture, but I still have ambiguous feelings: Michael is great at communicating and orchestrating the clinic. He was very polite inviting me for a trial treatment at a special price. When I came I informed him that I would like to focus on my right shoulder, which had been sore for years. Michael assured me that their approach was “holistic” and their treatment, if successful, would treat all troubles in your body. I was surprised and intrigued with such a miraculous possibility. Michael asked to lie down on the bed and palpated my tummy first. Then he did a few painful actions with his elbow and fingers on my shoulder. I was in pain. Then he put one needle in my left wrist area. Got me covered and let me stay for about 10 min. While staying there with the lights off, I could hear Michael welcoming new clients in and seeing off other customers who were receiving their “treatment” simultaneously to mine. Oh what a great assembly treatment process orchestrated by one person! I suppose everyone is getting cured almost instantaneously. ps my shoulder gives me more pain the before, my last swimming and callisthenics were quite restricted due to that. I suppose words Physio and Acupuncture stand where Quackery is implied.

Fantastic experience: Awe...I have histories of knee problems due to rugby back at my home country and its being killing me. Cannot even walk a distance of 100 metres due to severe pain. BUT MIRACLES HAPPENS WHEN I FIRST VISIT FREEDOM PHYSIO AND ACCUPUNTURE. THANKS A MILLION MICHAEL FRANCIS. YOU DO ME WALKING AGAIN. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS GUY . Fantastic experience: Can't praise Michael and his staff enough. I was referred by a friend to Michael, I did have my doubts as I hadn't been able to find any effective treatment for my back and knee since Melbourne's first lock down in August 2020. However the whole experience was excellent, from my first phone call to book an appointment, Freedom staff were professional and helpful. My first consult was excellent, Michael listened to me babble on but was able to pinpoint the underlying issues straight away, he got straight into some effective treatment. I've had 4 consults and my body hasn't felt so good for over 18months. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: After feeling sharp pain in my lower back for no apparent reason whilst body surfing in Scotts Head on my way down from Brisbane to Melbourne for a Christmas family function and barely being able walk the next day I felt my holiday was in jeopardy so I went to Newcastle Hospital Emergency who diagnosed it as unspecified lower back pain gave me painkillers an. The painkillles eased the pain but walking was a challenge as I was hunched over and felt like one leg was a foot longer than the other. After driving to Melbourne and the condition not improving I found Micheal practice was close by and booked an appointme. His intiial consultation was thorugh and after diagnosing a bulged disc which he treated with acupuncture and some dlicate physio manipulation I felt a significant improvement after the first treatment. Michael manage to squeeze me in for 3 treaments befgore the Christmas and I was moving with ease and by New Years Eve i was moving like nothing had happened. Michael gave me a plan to help get follow until I got home to prevent and relapse and even did some research to find me a Physio in Brisbane who also did acupunture. I really believed the acupuncture played a signicant part in my speedy recovery becuase when I was driving and I lifted my foot of the accelerator I felt a sharp pain go rise through my leg and go straight to my lower back that I can only describe as an electric currents that started run from all the way up my leg then sudddenly stopping at my lower back with a sharp pain. Fantastic experience: A BIG thanks to Michael for his help. I was sleep deprived, in excruciating pain and felt defeated thinking my back/neck/shoulder pain would never subside. He was thorough and explained what was happening to my body, why it was happening and provided a treatment plan to have it corrected. Fantastic experience: Freedom Physio is exactly what its name says freedom. Freedom of pain that I never thought would go . I went terrified needles but in extreme pain so was willing to try anything. Wasn't give a miracle story was told the truth. My treatment would take time and it did. Thank you Michael.

Fantastic experience: I began seeing Michael in June 2018 after suffering with jaw/tooth and headache problems for 5 months which were unable to be resolved by a dentist , periodontist, my GP or a neurologist. Chronic neck issues are at the base of my problems. After a few intense weeks of manipulation, acupuncture and neck exercises progress was being felt. I am now mostly pain and headache free. Michael made me feel very comfortable and assured me that my problems were treatable. I can't thank Michael enough for what he has done for me and highly recommend him

Fantastic experience: Was recommended to see Michael by a number of people at work and was not disappointed. Had trouble with sciatica down one side of the body and the combination of physio and acupuncture gave me immediate relief. I just wish I had seen Michael earlier rather than hoping it would go away on its own. Have returned when my lower back stiffened up as it can now and again. Once again I was on the mend quickly. The physio, acupuncture and the recommended exercises Michael advised would assist me have all worked well. If you're in pain give Michael a try asap

Negative experience: My experience. I came to see Michael because i am having trouble sleeping due to pain from my neck / back. He started off by asking me a few questions. He then asked me to lie down and he attached some wires to my back and started electrotherapy. As this was my first time, i was nervous, and instead of staying with me to make sure that everything is okay, he left the room and went to see another patient. During this time i felt so uncomfortable because i was worried that if something were to happen id be alone and not know what to do. 15 minutes later, he came back to the room, asked me how i feel. I replied that i was in a great amount of pain, and started to swear swear because of the pain i was in, due to the electrotherapy. He seemed surprised and said that this has never happened before. He then told me to come back next week for more treatment. I will not be coming back to this place. He seemed rather impatient. He didnt even touch me , so no diagnoses at all! I felt as if i was just a dollar sign to him. Would not be recommending anyone to see him. I am now seeing a proper physio and i feel great after only 1 session. I apologize to anyone who may be offended by this, but this is just my honest experience.

Fantastic experience: Michael has been an absolute godsend! I suffered tendinitis and chronic neck pain for years, which was very debilitating. Michael was able to help me immensely with both of these conditions. He gave me tremendous help both in terms of pain relief, as well as giving me exercises to strengthen the problem areas and avoid future injuries. On top of all that he is a very supportive and empathetic physio, who is a great listener and really takes the time to hear you and figure out what your issues are. I'd previously seen many different practitioners (including various phyios, chiros, musculoskeletal therapists, etc), many of whom didn't seem to really take the time to understand what physical problems I had and were very prescriptive in their advice and treatment. Michael really took the time to understand my problems and tailor the treatment exactly to my condition, and consequently was able to get great results. A great physio and great guy! I can't recommend him enough!
