Most recently I saw Victoria who sorted my hamstring out. Easy booking system, multiple locations, friendly reception team and most importantly great at getting you back moving again.

Fantastic experience: Suddenly I started getting headaches and migraines. After reading things online, and with turning 40 soon, I thought it was probably just part of perimenopause. I did blood tests, eye tests, and everything came back normal. Then I heard John talk about how neck tension can play a big role in headaches and migraines, so I decided to book in. It turned out my neck and shoulders were extremely stiff, which could have been causing the headaches. Jeremy, who was the physio to treat me, was very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He explained everything clearly, asked about my lifestyle so I could understand what was contributing to the issue, treated the stiffness, and gave me exercises to continue at home. I honestly haven’t had a headache since. It really shows the power of knowledge and understanding the root cause instead of just guessing.

Fantastic experience: I see Will Cohen at Bluff Road Physio for a tear in my rotator cuff and issues with my knee after surgery. Will has been fabulous, he took time to explain the injury, where it was, what muscles need to be strengthened to assist with recovery. Will put together a treatment plan of exercises, explaining the exercises and what muscles they use to assist in recovery. I really liked that the exercises were put on a physio app to be able to refer to. I am very happy with my progress, Will updates my treatment plan as needed, adding resistance, weights to exercises for extra strength. Fantastic experience: Excellent. Saw John to help with BPPV/Vertigo which turned our to be Vestibular Neuritis. Despite being heavily booked, John made time for a priority appointment and clearly explained treatment options and provided exercises for recovery. After only a few days, symptoms disappeared thanks to John's advice and help and have not returned since.

Fantastic experience: I visited Bluff Road Physiotherapy Sandringham for the first time twice recently (Nov 2019) to help recover from lower back muscle spasm pain, which had gone beyond the point that could not be improved through self-managed treatment. David worked on my back and was able to fully restore movement and eradicate pain with these two visits. Recovery was achieved via a three-way approach: manipulative therapy, dry-needling, and exercise. David’s firm and steady rhythmic massaging, lasting about thirty minutes, eased muscle spasm quickly and returned my lower back to a normal supple state. The dry-needling was a first for me, and so David was thorough in his explanation, its purpose and effect. The dry-needling experience, lasting about five to ten minutes, involved seven needles, and they ranged from barely noticeable to minor discomfort, the latter being far less than the muscle spasm pain being treated. The exercises was a program of seven focusing on the lower back and core stability. They are done at home, and are reportable via the internet. Reporting is easy and is achieved by selecting the button that best represents pain level after completing each exercise. There is provision for comment. This is optional, but recommended, as David had answers and offered advice at the commencement of my second visit. Bluff Road Physiotherapy Sandringham is a professionally run clinic, and I have no hesitation in recommending their services.

He has already helped me a lot and has given me exercises to do at home. I would highly recommend this clinic, and their pricing was also very reasonable.

Fantastic experience: I found my first visit to bluff road Physiotherapy to be informative, I was greeted by Maddy at reception and David saw me on time, something I understand can be difficult sometimes but as a new patient it was nice to feel important. David took time to explain the treatment to me and then followed up by emailing extra information later that afternoon with instructions to follow at home. The extra info allowed me to review again what he had told me and go through the exercises again to make sure I did them correctly at home. Thanks David
