After 18 months of consistent lower back pain, wasting so much time and money on other people who would just put a “bandaid” on my issue, I finally found the place that would make me a new person Started with Sophie who instantly gave me relief and now have continued with Gabby, who is continuing to give me relief and I’m able to move without pain. I can’t thank them enough for listening to me, and giving 100% to working out a solution to help me!! Mastering Movement is such a warm, welcoming, friendly place! Fantastic experience: Since moving to the Chelsea area 7 years ago, I have seen Sophie for remedial massage and have had marvellous results in sorting out my sports related niggles. She has a wealth of knowledge and the entire team are also brilliant at what they do. I was heavily pregnant earlier in the year and needing some relief for my lower back so booked in with the girls which assisted greatly! They also have wonderful contacts in the industry and are open to sharing clients helping me book in with a maternity osteopath throughout my pregnancy as well as an acupuncturist who specialises in labour induction to help things get a move on! I cannot recommend the Mastering Movement team and their services enough, they are a wealth of knowledge and such lovely people.

Fantastic experience: I have being see Sophie and the girls for a few years now. Went in for shoulder pain due to my work not only did Sophie fix my shoulder she completely fix my whole body. Through my whole pregnancy I was seeing her and let me tell you without her I probably wouldn’t have survived and postpartum Sophie and gabby have being a god sent. They have magic hands. Not only are they amazing at what they do they are the nicest group of women you will be meet.

Along with phone advice from Soph, after hurting my back, these girls are very empathetic, professional & hold a lot of knowledge. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Having injured myself during the Gold Coast marathon over 5 weeks ago I’ve been to Sophie for the last 4 weeks and she has improved my body and reduced my pain immensely. Fantastic experience: I've seen Sophie just about every time I overdo it on the running track, and she always manages to get me back to it much quicker than I think (provided I do my exercises of course) The admin team at mastering movement are also some of the best operators Ive ever seen!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Mastering Movement since just after they opened in Chelsea. My main concern for seeing Sophie was due to my Achilles she not only helped me with the immediate pain but also provided me with the tools and knowledge to prevent future injuries. Sophie was a great support for me after I tore my Achilles and post surgery we have worked on strengthening the whole body to help me with my love of running. I had tried all different treatments with no success, but Sophie was the only one who actually fixed it! She is incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and truly knows what she’s doing. Fantastic experience: Over the last few years Sophie and the team have worked wonders for our family. At one point I had back pain for 12 months, several doctors visits and all the scans later were not providing an answer, except to say your back looks OK. I was waking up to turn in bed every nightI was at the point where I thought, this was going to be with me for the rest of my life, when a friend recommended Sophie. Fantastic experience: I have seen both Heather and Zenai for treatments regularly in the last 6 months, Zenai is just wonderful, really incredible at what she does. She makes you feel welcome, supported and does a great job of the massage. Perfectly suited for people who need a remedial style massage, through sport, repetitive injury or other. Her and I always chat during our appointment but she’d respect a clients wishes if they preferred silence during their treatment I’m sure. I’ve seen Heather for physio on a nerve strain that has been absolutely wonderful. If you have hesitations about seeing a new therapist to address a concern, you have nothing to worry about with Heather. She’s warm, welcoming, and really listens to what style of treatment you need. For me, it’s dry needling, massage and she always runs through some assessments so we’ve been able to track and trouble shoot my injuries and actually get to the root cause over a series of sessions. I see Heather through an EPC and I’m so glad I pursued this approach as it’s meant her appointments are Medicare subsidised and we’ve had that additional time to dig into what has caused this strain and remedy it without being too deep out of pocket. Thank you so much to the whole team at Mastering Movement, they have created a wonderful, supportive and uplifting team of incredible professionals that I refer friends to in a heart beat.

Fantastic experience: Saw Perry for some knee and back discomfort I was having, not only did he help me rectify my pain, he also showed me how to avoid it in the future. He really knows his stuff.

Fantastic experience: I had really really tight muscles all around my hips and it started moving through my whole leg and back. Came and saw Perry and took me through a whole range of movemts and exercises to see where I was at. Accessing my situation very thourughly. He set me up with a very simple exercise routine and persise deep muscle massage to reach the goals of movement freedom. Stuck to it all and only had to see him the two times. Worked splendidly. Would highly highly recommend This place and Perry for all.

Sophie was extremely thorough with the diagnostic, treatment, discussing exercises to mitigate further injury and pleasantly followed up to check how I was going shortly after.
